In addition to performing in plays and penning their own, Socks is an established theater critic with Stage Raw and in their first season with the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle, providing written and podcast coverage for shows in the greater LA area as well as voting on the LADCC’s annual theatrical awards. (Send Socks and the other LADCC members an invite if you want to be eligible!)

Beyond reviews and interviews, Socks also writes op-eds and other kinds of essays for digital publications on commission. Their topical specialties include (but aren’t necessarily limited to) emotional literacy, disability, accessibility, queer topics, marketing/branding, career counseling, and any/all of their art forms.
